Heavenly Father, I thank you for creating me with a sound mind and the ability to think.
Thank you for helping me remain sober-minded despite some circumstances I have encountered in life.
Of late, I have experienced a lot of stress and it was unsettling my mind.
Remind me to always pray over everything that worries me so your peace that surpasses human understanding will guard my mind and heart (Philippians 4:6-7).
Instead of worrying about things, I will pray over them and trust you are working to sort them out.
You take care of the birds of the air and the grass in the field and you have promised to take care of me.
Help me know you are working in my situation even though I cannot see what you are doing behind the scenes.
My life is in your hands and I know it is safe there.
I have a tendency to stress out when I don’t know how to respond in certain gatherings.
In such situations, remind me your Holy Spirit will teach me in that very hour what to say.
He is my helper in every situation and I have nothing to fear.
Show me how to identify the things that trigger stress in me. I want to eliminate them and put all my trust in you.
You are my savior and have never failed to help me in my time of need.
Nothing is too hard for you, even what is stressing me. I leave all my burdens with you and trade them for your yoke that is easy and light (Matthe w 11:28-30).
I will meditate on your Scriptures which will help me stop worrying and overthinking things. Your word has the solutions for the problems that keep me awake at night.
Speak to me as I read your word and give me the revelation that will set me free.
Give me strategies to eliminate stress and live a more joyful and worry free life.
My life is in your hands and I will worry no more.
In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
