Is your business going at the pace that you want it to go, or have things slowed down?
If we are, to be honest, we want our businesses to grow faster.
But here's the thing:
It takes time, and you need to be faithful with the small things God has given you in your business before He can trust you with more. (Luke 16:10)
Some business owners do things their way instead of following the steps God has laid out for them. As such, they keep rotating around the same mountain just like the Israelites.
Choose to obey God even when it does not make sense.
Do something extraordinary with the little God has given you in your business, and he will open up more doors for you.
Here are three things you can be faithful with before God trust you with more in business:
Finances
One of the reasons we start our businesses is to make a profit.
Whether you're making a lot of profit or little, be faithful with what God is giving you this season. Do not waste your money on unprofitable ventures; use it to expand your business. (Matthew 25:14-30)
Even if the money you're making does not meet your financial goals, keep being faithful with the little that you are getting, and God will open financial doors.
Time
With so many things to do, it is easy to get caught up in things that may waste our time.
But wasting your time will impact your business negatively. If you struggle with time management, ask the Holy Spirit to help you manage your time well.
Remember, time wasted can never be recovered.
Value
You may be waiting to get more clients before you provide valuable services or products. But that is not the way God wants you to run your business.
Provide high-quality services or products to one client the same way you would a thousand clients. Work diligently with those few clients, and with time, God will bring you more clients.
Set goals and be committed to achieving them in faith.
Do not quit, even when things do not look promising. At the right time, God is going to show up and reward you the same way he rewarded the man who had five talents. (Matthew 25:20-21)
Remember to ask God for guidance in everything you do and follow the direction that He is taking you. Always walk in faith, and have the right attitude towards your business, partners, and clients.
As you walk in the path, God has laid out for you as an entrepreneur know that there will be hard times, people who will discourage you, and others will make fun of you for sticking to your faith. But do not quit or give up. Know that you're serving a higher purpose and that your business has eternal value.
In short:
Stop focusing on your vision, and start focusing on God's vision for your business. Thank God for each season and ask him to give you patience in every season and stage of your business.
