God…I need you!
God Created Us to Need Him
According to God’s original plan, he never meant for us to function without him.
That is why he had fellowship with Adam in the garden of Eden. We need God in our lives each day.
To restore our broken fellowship with him, God sent Jesus to reconcile us back to him (2 Corinthians 5:18).
Jesus knew we needed help in living according to God’s commands. He sent us the Holy Spirit to indwell us and help us do God’s will.
We need the Spirit of God every day to help us live a righteous life.
God knew we needed his help in living the abundant life he planned for us.
Through Christ, he gave us power and authority to cast out of our lives the works of the enemy (Luke 10:19) and set us free from slavery to sin.
With that freedom, we can serve him wholeheartedly.
We need God each day to supply our daily needs. According to Philippians 4:19, He does so through his glorious riches in Christ Jesus.
This way we don’t have to live in lack and we can fulfill God’s purpose for our lives.
As created beings, we need provision, protection, hope, divine wisdom, salvation, healing, deliverance, all of which God provides in abundance.
We are always in need of God’s daily direction to succeed in all we do.
Look to God today to meet all your needs and help you live a godly and content life. He is an ever present help in times of need (Psalm 46:1).
