Some people seem to know everything.
They always have solutions to every problem, no matter how difficult it is.

It is not that they are prideful people who like showing off, they are just knowledgeable about so many things in life, and love sharing what they know with others.
Have you ever been around such a person?
You admire this person so much and secretly want to become like them.
The good news:
We can all become wise people. Being knowledgeable will save you from making the wrong decisions in life and help you to be more confident.
But as children of God, we need to be careful about the kind of wisdom we acquire. There is worldly wisdom which the Bible calls foolish and Godly wisdom, which is pure. (James 3:17)
Here are four biblical ways to become wise:
Follow Jesus
The first step to having wisdom is to accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and savior. Why? Jesus Christ is the wisdom of God. (1 Corinthians 1:24)
Have a close relationship with him. Read the word so that you can get to know his character and follow his leading because he is your good shepherd.
Following Jesus should become a lifestyle. As you spend time with your savior, he will show you great things that you do not know. Everything was created through him, so he knows everything pertaining to life and is able to help us if we ask him.
Heed To Instructions
The Bible says a wise person heeds to instruction. (Proverbs 13:1)
When someone corrects you, humble yourself and listen. The person correcting you may not do it the right way but focus on what is being said and not how it is being said. God speaks to us through other people like our parents, pastors, family, and friends, and even in some cases, strangers. So he may instruct us and correct us through our loved ones or strangers.
But be careful when heeding to instructions. Ask for the gift of discernment so that you can be able to listen to the right people and not those that will lead you wrong or give you demonic counsel.
Hang Around Wise People
Do you know that your friends define you?
Yes, the people you call friends can influence you positively or negatively. They are the people you turn to when you want to make decisions. If you keep a company of fools, then it doesn't matter how wise you are because with time you will start making foolish decisions. (Proverbs 13:20)
Ask God to connect you with the right people that are wise so that they can help you make smart decisions in life.
Give Thought To Every Step You Take
Don’t rush to make decisions; you will end up making a lot of mistakes in life.
In the Bible, King Ahab made the wrong decision when it came to marriage. He married Jezebel, a foreign woman who practiced idol worship. Jezebel influenced Ahab and Israel to worship Baal instead of God.
Before you make any decision, take a step back, think things through, and ask God for wisdom. (James 1:5)
In short:
Jesus is our wisdom. Follow his leading, and he will help you to make wise decisions. Pay attention when someone is instructing you, even though you may be well versed with the subject, you may end up learning something new. Think through before making any decisions and always keep a company of wise people so that you can become wiser.
