Everything was excellent, you were studying the Bible, praying every day and attending church regularly.
You had the peace that surpasses all understanding.
Then something happened, the temptation looked so small at first, but now you have messed up. (Proverbs24:16)
You hate every bit of it. It’s like you are walking in circles.
You want to be free from failure and live a life that glorifies God always, but you don’t how to do it.
Giving up will not make things better; you will only sink deeper into the dark side, and that is precisely where the enemy wants you to be.
So how does one break out of failure in their spiritual walk?
By Dealing With Wrong Beliefs
Failure stems from wrong beliefs.
Before a married woman or man can cheat on their spouse, they will struggle with wrong thinking.
For example, someone may see it as a way of getting comfort because their spouse ignores them.
A wrong belief will put you in a cycle of failure, so you have to deal with it.
We are not perfect, but here is the thing, you are a child of God, and that means you are a conqueror, not a failure.
See yourself the way God sees you and not according to your past mistakes.
Ask God For Help
Sometimes we struggle with failure in our spiritual walk because of not asking for help.
Yes, you have not because you ask not.
Look, we are all humans. We are bound to make mistakes.
Don’t let pride take over your heart.
Go to God and ask him to help you out.
He is more than willing to do that, but he is waiting for you to ask him because God has given us free will.
Tell God about your struggles and ask him to show you the root cause.
Ask him to help you deal with the issues you are facing.
Allow the Holy Spirit to take charge of your life. He will help you to change into the person you want to be.
Walking By Faith Not Sight
Sometimes the natural things of this world seem more realistic than the supernatural.
So much so that at times we want the here and now and this often leads us to a path of failure.
But when we become Christians, we stop walking by what we see and start walking by faith in the word of God.
The spiritual things of God should become more real than the natural. No matter what we go through, we need to walk by faith.
But let’s be honest, we cannot walk by faith if we don’t know the word of God well.
That is why we need to keep transforming our minds. The more we do it, the more we become like Christ and break free from spiritual failure.
Don’t grow weary in your Christian walk; the truth is everyone stumbles. Ask God to help you out, and he will.
Choose to walk by faith and not by sight and remember you are God’s most prized possession that is why he gave up Jesus, his son for you.
