Coronavirus Prayers

Prayer for Anyone Who Contracted the Coronavirus

Lord, I praise you because you are my healer and deliverer and I have nothing to fear. You have always been by my side and have promised to never leave me or forsake me. I worship you because it is you who delivers me from the hand of my enemies.

“But the Lord your God you shall fear; and He will deliver you from the hand of all your enemies.” 2 Kings 17:39

I ask that you deliver me from the Coronavirus and heal my body.

prayer for someone with coronavirus

You have said that you have sent your word to heal me, and I receive it today in Jesus’ name. I declare your healing word over my body and especially my respiratory system.

May your healing power flow through my body now and clear every hint of the Coronavirus.

I receive the healing that Christ purchased for me when he died on the cross

Dress with Purpose:

“who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness—by whose stripes you were healed.” 1 Peter 2:24

You said that no weapon formed against me will prosper and I declare that word over my body. This virus called Coronavirus will not prosper in my life or that of my family.

I will stand firm today and see your deliverance. I declare that this disease I see today, I will never see it again.

“And Moses said to the people, “Do not be afraid. Stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord, which He will accomplish for you today. For the Egyptians whom you see today, you shall see again no more forever.” Exodus 14:13

Your word says that if I command the mountain that is troubling me to be removed from my body, without doubt, it will leave.

I, therefore, command the Coronavirus to leave my body in Jesus’ name and never to return.

“So Jesus answered and said to them, “Have faith in God. For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says”. Mark 11:22-23

I curse it from the roots like Jesus cursed the fig tree, and I believe that it has died and is leaving my body as I speak.

I ask that you give me a quick recovery so that my life can go back to normal. May my healing be a testimony of your healing power. I thank you for I believe that you have healed me, and may all the glory be yours now and forevermore.

In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.

Prayer for Anyone Experiencing Fear Because of the Coronavirus

Prayer for Anyone Experiencing Fear Because of the Coronavirus

Lord, I give you all the praise because you are a refuge in times of trouble. You have said several times in your word that I should not be afraid but be strong and courageous.

I come to you today because I feel fear rising in my spirit. I fear that I or my family members could get infected by the coronavirus and die. Deliver me from a spirit of fear because you have given me a spirit of power, love, and self-discipline.

“For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.” 2 Timothy 1:7

Deliver me from the fear of death and the anxiety that has filled my heart.

Help me trust in you because you are my refuge and hiding place.

Whenever I feel anxious, remind me to come before you in prayer and pour my heart out. Fill me with your peace that surpasses human understanding.  Strengthen me so that I can face each day with courage.

Strengthen me so that I can face each day with courage

Watch over me and my family members wherever they are because we fear you and rely on your unfailing love.

“Behold, the eye of the Lord is on those who fear Him, On those who hope in His mercy,” Psalm 33:18

Perfect our hearts with your love because you have said that perfect love casts out fear. May your love cast out the fear of Coronavirus from my heart.

Free me from the bondage of fear because I have taken the necessary measures to protect myself as directed by authorities.

Help me remember that this plague shall pass and will not come near my dwelling. Cover me with your feathers and shelter me with your wings. I declare that your promises are my armor and protection.

“He shall cover you with His feathers, And under His wings you shall take refuge; His truth shall be your shield and buckler” Psalm 91:4

You are my refuge and I know this disease will not find me for I am hidden in you. May I always keep my eyes on you because you are the one who delivers me from all my fears.

In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.

Prayer for Our World Leaders to be Guided to Handle The Coronavirus Situation

Prayer for Our World Leaders to be Guided to Handle The Coronavirus Situation

Lord, thank you for the leaders you have placed in authority in every nation of the world. You put them in power because you knew what you wanted them to achieve using the power you gave them.

Thank you for the steps they have taken in combating the Coronavirus in their respective countries.

Give each leader your divine wisdom to make decisions that will benefit the citizens and protect them from this deadly disease. Help them not to rely on their human wisdom but to seek your face for lasting solutions and directives.

“But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy.” James 3:17

Fill their minds with your strategies for eliminating the Coronavirus pandemic in the world.

May the different nations cooperate with each other to coordinate their efforts in dealing with this virus.

You gave King Solomon wisdom so that he could govern your people and discern good and evil.

“Then God said to him: “Because you have asked this thing, and have not asked long life for yourself, nor have asked riches for yourself, nor have asked the life of your enemies, but have asked for yourself understanding to discern justice, behold, I have done according to your words; see, I have given you a wise and understanding heart, so that there has not been anyone like you before you, nor shall any like you arise after you.” 1 Kings 3:11-12

In the same way, give our leaders supernatural wisdom and help them make good judgments about what to do or not do. Give the citizens of every nation in the world an ear to heed the warnings of their leaders.

May your word prevail in the heart of every leader in this world because you direct their hearts to wherever you please.

bible verse of the day proverbs 21:11

“The king’s heart is in the hand of the Lord, Like the rivers of water; He turns it wherever He wishes” Proverbs 21:1

Soften their hearts to receive divine solutions and counsel during this trying time in the world.

Renew their faith in you and remind them of why you put them in positions of power. You are our healer and deliverer and may this ring true in their minds and hearts. Give each leader a solution that works best for their nation.

Help them take into consideration the unique needs of their citizens when taking radical measures to combat the Coronavirus spread.

Let them give adequate notice to their people so that they can prepare accordingly.

In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.

Prayer for the Church to Continue to Be the Light

Prayer for the Church to Continue to Be the Light

Lord, I praise and worship you because you are the great and mighty God who is undefeated in battle.

I know the battle the world faces today in the name of Coronavirus is nothing to you.

It cannot stand against your power. You are Light and you have given us your light as the church.

bible verse of the day john 1:4

“In Him was life, and the life was the light of men.” John 1:4

May the light of the church shine brightly during this dark time the world is facing.

You have called your church to minister to the needs of the people and may it rise and do this during this dark moment.

Even if churches cannot gather physically, they can offer their services online and reach the hurting and those scared of what is going on.

Give your church divine ideas on how to reach the lost using the internet. If they don’t know how to use technology to minister to others, may they come to you for wisdom.

“If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.” James 1:5

Where church gatherings are not possible, show your ministers how to offer their services using mobile phones, social media, email, videos, or podcasts.

Give the church your divine wisdom on how to use technology to their advantage and minister to those around the world. Many come from nations that don’t embrace Christianity but they can get to hear your word on the internet.

“Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.” Matthew 28:19-20

Show your church how it can make use of the digital platform using the resources they have. They don’t need expensive equipment to do so.

Help your ministers see that the simple gadgets they have like phones and laptops can achieve more than they ever imagined.

They can hold services, teach the Bible, pray with others, and give hope to those infected and affected by the Coronavirus.

Inspire the heart of every member of the church to influence others around them.

In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.

Prayer for the Protection of the Elderly and Physically Vulnerable

Prayer for the Protection of the Elderly and Physically Vulnerable

Lord, you are a good Father who watches over those who are disadvantaged in society. It is not your desire that any of them should perish because of the Coronavirus.

They can’t take precautionary measures like those that are able to society.

You have said that whatever I ask for in prayer and believe that I have received it, it will be done for me.

“Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.” Mark 11:24

I pray that all the vulnerable in the community will be under your shield of protection. Hide them under your wings where this disease cannot find them.

I declare that no elderly person or physically vulnerable shall be infected by coming into contact with a Coronavirus patient.

Protect them because they are not well-positioned to protect themselves from diseases and illnesses. Strengthen them and provide the necessary care they need.

You are their provider, show them they can trust in you for their daily needs.

“Your congregation dwelt in it; You, O God, provided from Your goodness for the poor.” Psalm 68:10

Strengthen the immune systems of the elderly and physically vulnerable so that they will not contract the Coronavirus or any other disease.

Heal them from any medical conditions they have and may your Spirit give their bodies a new lease of life.

“But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.” Romans 8:11

May they take refuge in you because they are safe in your care. Help them put their trust in you and not men because you are their Savior.

Keep the physically vulnerable safe from any kind of threat or danger. Give them hope that this dark time will soon pass away.

Strengthen their hearts and fill them with the courage to face each day. May they draw strength from you and know that you will never forsake them. Speak into their fears and alleviate them.

Remind them that you have a great plan for their lives and their future is secure in you.

In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
