God is More Than Enough: Finding Completion

Sharing is caring!

You will never amount to anything without me. I am the only one who will ever make you happy. If you walk away from this, then just know that it will be the end of you. No one will be there for you like I have been; you’re making a big mistake.

Do any of those words sound familiar?

Many of us have had that one person who told us we would never amount to anything or that we would never go ahead in life without them. Sadly, most of us bought into that lie.

We have allowed those words to shape how we do things, and some of us have settled for less because we believed these people.

It could be that you just went back to that abusive relationship, whether it is a romantic or business relationship because you believed that person.

The truth is the person or people who told you those words are under the control of the enemy. He or she is being by the enemy to destroy your life. But you don’t have to allow people to manipulate you anymore because;

Ephesians 6:12 bible verse

For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Ephesians 6:12

God is More Than Enough

You’re the object of God’s love, and you don’t have to allow someone to abuse you all in the name of love. True love is found in Jesus and him alone. It is only in God that you will find freedom and true completion. (2 Corinthians 9:8)

2 Corinthians 9:8 bible verse

And God is able to make all grace abound to you, that you, always having all sufficiency in everything, may abound to every good work. 2 Corinthians 9:8

But they will change I just have to keep trying, you say.

This may be hard for you to digest, but the truth is you can never change someone only God can through the Holy Spirit.

Don’t take up the role of the Holy Spirit in the life of someone that is abusing and manipulating you. They will only become worse and resent you for it.

Jesus Wants You to Find Completion in Him

You will not find the kind of love you long for in that person. It is only Jesus that will love you unconditionally.

John 3:16 bible verse

For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life. John 3:16

Though he is perfect, Jesus will love you just the way you are and not just that, but the love that he will pour on you will transform you into the woman you have always wanted to be.

But for you to experience this love, you need to stop allowing people to manipulate you and turn to Jesus.

ou may be in a situation where you cannot physically walk away from that bad relationship. But the first step to change starts in your heart.

Make up your mind today that you will start seeking completion from God through his son Jesus and not man.

God Chose You Before the Foundation of the World

The enemy is using people to make you feel inadequate, but God chose you before the foundation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight (Ephesians 1:4).

So every negative thing that has been spoken over you is a lie. You are fearfully and wonderfully made.

You don’t need man’s approval to be who God created you to be. You need approval from God and him alone.

So seek him and his ways, and he will change your life.

In conclusion

Many believers are not living their best lives because they have allowed the enemy to lie to them. Satan has used people in their lives to manipulate and abuse some of us.

Instead of becoming a great woman that God created us to be, we are living miserable lives because we have been made to believe that we are not enough.

Yes, you are not enough on your own, but neither can another human being complete you. If you are looking for true completion, go to God. He is more than enough.
