A Five Day Devotional on the Importance of Praise
Day Five: God’s Instrument of Judgment
SCRIPTURE: Out of the mouth of babes and nursing infants You have ordained strength, Because of Your enemies, That You may silence the enemy and the avenger. Psalm 8:2
THOUGHT: Most of us tend to fight our battles ourselves, and most time that’s what we do in prayer, trying to help God destroy our enemies. But the Scriptural test of devotional today, shows us that when we praise God, He takes over our battles and silences them completely. (See Matthew 21:16)
God’s atomic weapon for the destruction of your enemy is in your mouth, it is praise. So stop fighting your enemies yourself; start praising God by way of a lifestyle and He will destroy your adversary for you: for when God fights, who can hold against Him.
CONFESSION: Arise oh Lord and let your enemies be scattered, let them that hate you flee before you in the name of Jesus. Amen!
