How to Develop Unshakable Trust in God

Some people have unshakable trust in God.

They praise God and worship him in good and bad times.

They always seem to have a perfect spiritual life, or we would like to believe so.

These people know that God is there, and he will never fail them. It is like nothing can shake their faith (Psalm 28:7).

Do you know someone like that?

Well, the truth is most of us are not like that.

Our faith keeps wavering, especially when things are difficult. It is easy for us to believe God for some things, but there are moments when we struggle to trust God.

We start looking for alternatives or come up with plan B just in case God doesn’t come through.

But we are told to trust in God with all our heart, right? (Proverbs 3:5).

So why do we struggle while others seem to trust God easily?

Know More about God’s Love

People with unshakable trust have taken time to understand God’s love for mankind.

Understanding God’s love will help you to trust God completely.

God cares so much about you that he will never leave you, or fail you. God doesn’t want you to struggle, but because we live in a fallen world, there are some challenges we will go through.

But he will always come through for you.

Look at what God did for you in the Past

Remember the times God came through for you in the past. There was no way out for you, but he came through.

If God did it in the past; he will do it again this time.

If you don't remember anything, then study the Bible and see how God never failed, Hannah, Abraham, David, Esther, and Elizabeth.

He is the same God.  He did it for them, and he will do it for you too.

Understand God’s Character

Understanding who God is and how he does his things will help you to develop unshakable trust in him.

Look you don't develop firm faith in God by merely hoping that he will come through for you without knowing his word.

When things become hard, it will be easy to get sidetracked.

That is why God gave us his word in written form so that we can read and understand his character.

Find out how God operates, why he will come through for you, and you will be able to withstand different trials and temptations.

Go to the Bible and look at all the times he came through for different people.

See how he is careful to watch over his word and how he cares for you deeply; he will never disappoint you.

Trusting God takes practice and time. Trials will help you to know who God is, how he works, and how much he loves you.

God will reveal himself to you in different situations so that you can understand him better.

Stop looking at the storms in your life and start looking at God because he loves you unconditionally and he will always be there for you no matter what.
