3 Powerful Verses about Faith

We all wish the Christian life could be sweet and smooth, right?

But we are not promised a comfortable life. The word of God tells us that we will have trouble in this world.

The good news:

Even with all the trouble, we know that we have already won this war.

But to remain victorious, we need to stand firm in our faith.

How?

Faith comes by hearing the word of God.

We need to continue in the word of God so that our faith can grow.

Here are three powerful bible verses about faith that will help you to stand firm in victory:

When The Enemy Seems Strong

Be strong and courageous. Don’t be afraid or scared of them; for Yahweh your God himself is who goes with you. He will not fail you nor forsake you. Deuteronomy 31:6

Well, even though we are fighting from the point of victory, there are times when the battle is fierce, and the enemy seems strong.

It is easy for us to be afraid during such times, but we should not.

God is with you. He will not leave you to fight this battle alone. Be courageous because Jesus has already won the battle at the cross.

Keep fighting, keep standing firm in your faith.

When You’re Fearful

Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. Isaiah 41:10

When life is hard, and you feel all alone, it is easy for you to become fearful.

But do be led by your feelings or what you see.

The children of God walk by faith.  So do not fear, God is with you. He will strengthen you when you’re fearful.

Don’t let fear take control of your heart and mind. Your heavenly Father is holding you through it all.

When God Is Taking Long To Answer

For the vision is yet for the appointed time, and it hurries toward the end, and won’t prove false. Though it takes time, wait for it; because it will surely come. It won’t delay. Habakkuk 2:3

It has been months since you started asking God for this one particular thing.

But you have not received the answer to your prayer.

Other people seem to be getting ahead, but you are stuck, or so it seems. You are still waiting upon the Lord.

Some of your friends are encouraging you to start doing things your way, and it is very tempting.

Keep holding on because whatever God has promised will come to pass.

It may seem like you are lagging, but God is never late.

To Joseph, the cupbearer seemed like his only option, but he forgot about Joseph as soon as he was reinstated.

But if the cupbearer had told Pharaoh about Joseph, then maybe he wouldn’t have been given what God had for him.

Let God accomplish his promises in your life according to His timing.  Keep holding on to His promises, and do not give up hope.

All in all:

At times the enemy attacks our faith so that we can doubt the promises of God.  But even when you stumble and fall, get up and continue standing firm in the promises of God.

Just like the rain falls from heaven, God’s word, which comes out of his mouth, will accomplish that which he has sent forth.
