Prayer for the Fruit of the Womb
Dear Heavenly Father, I am here with one of the deepest desires of my heart. I speak to you now because I know that only you can give children and no one can close any door you open. No one else like you created all things, and no doctor can fix as you can.
Dearest Lord, you gave your only Son to us by the immaculate conception of a virgin. You gave Hannah, Samuel the prophet’s mother, six children in total when she was already written off for barren. You gave your daughter, Sarah the matriarch of Israel, a son in her old age when it was all but impossible even to get intimate.
Father, you blessed Elizabeth, mother of John the Baptist, with her baby in her very old age.
Rachel, the mother of Joseph, was barren for a long time, but you opened her womb.
Rebekah took in after several years of marriage.
Samson’s mother was initially infertile before you blessed her with a child anointed from the womb.

Gracious Lord, it is your covenant with Israel and, by extension, Christ Jesus in Deuteronomy 7:14 that no person will go barren in the land. And all the earth is Christ’s. Also, I am in Christ. Therefore, it only follows that you have sworn that I will have children. Furthermore, you said in Exodus 23:26 that no one with child will ever miscarry. I say yes, Lord. Amen.
No one will miscarry or be barren in your land. I will fulfill the number of your days.
Exodus 23:26
King of kings, your word is true. I ask now that you grant me the honor of carrying my own children in my womb according to your promise. But, more importantly, Lord, fill my womb with your purpose. Father, bless me with your desire for me and give me a mother’s wisdom to bring them up as instruments of glory to your name.
Dear Lord, it seems that women who had difficulty conceiving in the scriptures were compensated with exceptional children. So, wonderful Father, it’d be my honor and privilege to host a divine star in my womb – a child who would grow up and do marvelous things for you in our world. God, I’m asking; compensate me too.
Father, the wait has been awkward. It may not be as long as some of these biblical mothers had to endure, but Lord, it’s been long enough for me. Heavenly Father, put a broad smile on your daughter’s face a few moments from now. Please give me the indescribable joy of looking into my infant’s delicate face, hearing their cries, and watching them laugh and grow. Grant my husband and me the immense opportunity of raising our own.
Finally, Good Father, you always hear me, and you always listen. I know you care deeply about my heart and how I feel, and I can’t praise you enough for your immense goodness.
So right now, I want to thank you for healing and strengthening my body and preparing me to carry your given children. I have complete assurance of your deliverance. So thank you, Lord God, for taking care of everything right now; in Jesus Christ’s name, I pray. Amen.
