Lord, I praise you for protecting my life and that of other citizens through the police force.
You have equipped police officers with the wisdom to know what to do in every volatile situation.
As they work, they have left families at home who need your care.
Protect the families of police officers against those who would threaten them because they are relations of law enforcement officers.
Be their shield and surround them with your mighty arms.
Keep them from danger and send your angels to watch over them day and night.
Help them extend grace to their loved one, who is a police officer, and understand that they have to be away a lot of times due to their work.
Guard their hearts with your peace and remove their fears (Philippians 4:7).
May they always come to you when they need comfort or encouragement.
Meet them at their point of need.

We call them blessed in the city and blessed in the field, blessed when they come and when they go!
