Lord, thank you for keeping me in good health all the time. My eyes are on you because you are my healer.
No illness is too hard for you to heal.
I need your healing touch today from a cough and cold that have attacked me and made it difficult to breathe or sleep.
I know you want to see me well with a strong and healthy body.
Strengthen my immune system not to fall victim to viruses and bacteria that cause illnesses.
Give me relief from the symptoms of the cough and cold so I can go about my daily tasks with enthusiasm.
As I take medicine for the cough and cold, may you work through it to give me quick relief.
Clear my nostrils and throat so that I can breathe easily and bring down the fever that is making my body hot and uncomfortable.
May your Spirit of life give life to my mortal body (Romans 8:11) and energize it each day.
Comfort me with your healing words and give me rest in your mighty arms.
I thank you for giving me the guarantee of healing when Jesus died on the cross and all glory belongs to you.
In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

“Surely he took up our pain and bore our suffering, yet we considered him punished by God, stricken by him, and afflicted. But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed.” – Isaiah 53:4-5
