Thank You, Father, for Your life in me. Thank You for the death of Your Son Jesus, whose sacrifice is the reason I can come to You today. His blood is a blank check I received so I can ask whatever I desire, and You will grant it. Thank You for Your provision and guidance. I extol Your majestic name.
Jesus, before You left the earth, You said there would be wars and rumors of wars. For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There shall be famines, viral outbreaks, and earthquakes in divers places. Lord, in addition to these, there are kidnappings, banditry, inflation, and to top it all off job scarcity.
The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous run into it and are safe. Lord Jesus, how can I run into You when there is so much uncertainty in my heart. Sometimes, I’m clueless about what to do. Lord, how do I pay the bills and protect my loved ones from evil vices.
Lord, I’m afraid. I know I’m not supposed to be in this panic state because I’m Your child, for You have promised to care for and protect me. As a joint heir with Christ, I refuse to believe the lie of the devil. I embrace Your promise to me with a thousand falling by my side and ten thousand at my right hand. You also assure me that You will give Your angels charge over me.
Dear Father, Elijah was afraid for his life when he ran from Jezebel. In like manner, I, too, have run away from things I was supposed to confront. I even catch myself running away from you at times.
I’m sorry, Lord. Please forgive me and show me Your mercy.
Dear Father, You did not abandon Elijah in the wilderness. You sent ravens to feed him, and You also provided water from the brook for him to drink. Lord, in like manner, make way for me in places that seem impossible. Father, provide for my needs through the most unlikely sources.
Mary was afraid of the arrival of the angel with the news of the coming King through her. Lord, I’m not exalting fear and anxiety over Your great name, for Your name is above all name. But as You told Mary not to be afraid, Lord, I ask for Your still small voice to resound in my heart and quiet every raging storm in my soul.
I declare that I have perfect inner peace because my mind stays on Jesus. I denounce the activity of the enemy to take my eyes off the finished works of Christ.
I receive that inner peace Jesus gave before His ascension into heaven. I speak to my heart: “You shall no longer be afraid.” Father, make me as bold as David, Daniel, and Jesus who was not afraid of the cross.
Help me, Lord, to be diligent in the study and meditation of Your word. Holy Spirit, teach me how to be still. Help me to be attentive to Your speaking and instructions. Lord, grow in me the fruit of peace. So that no matter what comes or news I hear, my heart will not faint.
Dear Father, give me an obedient heart. Help me to carry out Your instructions with diligence as You have said that the kingdom of God is in me. In me is the Holy Spirit, who guides me in righteousness, peace, and joy. I receive the grace and strength to do Your will.
