Words Of Encouragement
We as Americans are so blessed to have men, women, husbands, wives, fathers, mothers, brothers, sisters, daughters, sons, uncles, and aunts that serve our country.
They each defend the very freedom that many of us take for granted.
These men and women don’t get near enough praise and recognition that they deserve!
When was the last time you thanked a soldier for their service?
There is a great sacrifice that each soldier undertakes when they enter the military. At any given time, they must be prepared to leave loved ones to report in for combat, assignments, etc.
Having to say goodbye to their families is like a punch in the gut, and likewise, it’s the same for their loved ones.
In times of war, we are vigilant to pay attention to the number of soldiers whose lives are taken and our hearts go out to their families.
But in everyday living, do we think about the military who are still in the Middle East in combat?
How often do we hear about the death toll that is still occurring over there?
Not much, right? Let’s keep them in prayer believers!
Let’s pray for the loved ones left behind by soldiers who have lost their lives and for those who are actively deployed away from home.
Family members sacrifice their loved ones to defend the freedom that each of us has.
Our military personnel is why we can freely worship and read the Bible.
They are the ones that give us the ability to enjoy our beautiful country.
Our hearts burst with pride for each man and woman that stand up for our nation’s safety.
Prayer For Our Military Personnel
Dear God of all armies,
We just want to thank you.
Thank you for every man and woman that puts a military uniform on and goes to work day after day to defend our country.
Thank you for their courage and bravery and for the ultimate sacrifices they make.
Thank you for the freedom we have and forgive us when we forget that that freedom does not come free.
Lord, please wrap your arms of protection tightly around each soldier and carry them safely through each day.
Protect them from the evil ones that seek to harm them and our country. Help our soldiers to feel your presence around them.
We pray for those that do not know you as their savior.
Please place someone in their life to share the Gospel with them, and may their minds and hearts be open.
Bind the evil one from shutting the door on their hearts.
Father, please protect the leaders of our military.
Permeate their minds with wisdom and help them to make decisions according to your perfect will.
Lead our country in the way you desire it to go.
Please lift the heavy hearts of families who have lost a soldier or who are separated from their soldiers for a while.
Provide for them and cover them in your protection. Give them strength.
We pray in Jesus’ name – amen.
Prayer For The Military Troops
I thank you especially for our military – for all those who have served or are currently serving.
They are truly a picture of ultimate love and sacrifice, just like you showed for us.
Protect them from physical threats, as well as spiritual ones.
Give them joy and confidence no matter what they face.
War is brutal, but remind them that there is great hope to be found in Your name.
Strengthen also their families and those close to them.
In Jesus’ name,
