Words Of Encouragement For You Pastor

Dear Pastor,

I want you to know how grateful I am for all that you do.

We’re so blessed that the Lord has given us a pastor after His Heart to feed us with His Wisdom, true to His promise in Jeremiah 3:15.

And I will give you shepherds according to My heart, who will feed you with knowledge and understanding. Jeremiah 3:15

You are a blessing to the church, and my life in particular.

Shepherding God’s people is indeed a delicate and sacrificial role, and I can only imagine what it truly entails.

In the 23rd Psalm, while David describes the Lord as his own shepherd, he also gives some meaningful insight into the profession that prepared him to lead God’s people, and it’s clear that it takes wholehearted dedication and commitment.

Please, stay strong in the Lord as it says in Ephesians 6:10.

verse of the day Ephesians 6:10

Finally, be strong in the Lord, and in the strength of his might. Ephesians 6:10

Always remember God’s promise in Hebrews 6:10 that your labor of love will never be forgotten.

For God is not unrighteous, so as to forget your work and the labor of love which you showed toward his name, in that you served the saints, and still do serve them. Hebrews 6:10

You may not always see immediate results, but as a member of your flock, I assure you that you are making more impact than you will ever know.

Thank you for yielding to the Lord.

Prayer For Pastors

Dear God,

I’m so grateful that You’ve blessed our church with our Pastor.

Thank You for endowing the pastor with the wisdom and patience it takes to lead Your flock.

I ask that You continue to guide them in the path of Your Truth and Light, and that they never ceases to walk in the Light of Your Precious Word.

Be their own Shepherd, so that they will not lack anything.

Lord, You promised in Proverbs 11:25 that those who give of themselves will always be replenished.

verse of the day Proverbs 11:25

The liberal soul shall be made fat. He who waters shall be watered also himself. Proverbs 11:25

May my pastor never run dry of Your Word.

May Your love flow in our pastor and through them all the days of their life. Encourage their faith in You.

Lord, keep the pastor in sound doctrine and help them to uphold the Truth of Your Holy Word.

As in 2 Timothy 1:14, may Your Holy Spirit that dwells in them help them hold on to the good treasure of the Word that You have given to them.

verse of the day 2 Timothy 1:14

That good thing which was committed to you, guard through the Holy Spirit who dwells in us 2 Timothy 1_14

As You commanded Joshua in Joshua 1:8, may Your Word never depart from their mouth, but remain their constant meditation.

I ask that while the pastor is busy with Your work, you fill my pastor with Your peace beyond their understanding and that You help them guard their heart.

Strengthen them to withstand temptation and steadfastly resist the devil. Give them a clear and tender conscience and keep them from sin.

Give the pastor soundness of health and mind so that they can discharge their duties effectively. Teach them to rest in You and rely on You for emotional support.

I lift up the pastoral family before You also. I pray that according to Psalm 91, they remain in Your secret place and that You cover and shield them from the attack of the enemy.

Lord, protect them, strengthen their bond and bless their home. Assign Your angels for their protection and provision.

Meet all of their needs according to Your glorious riches.

Thank You for the wonderful years that You have planned for Your child to minister to Your people.

May they reap a full reward when they are done with their work here on Earth.

These I ask in Jesus’ matchless Name.

Amen.
