Prayer For Strength

Prayer For Strength

Lord, you are my strength and my portion forever. I come to you today because you have told me to approach your throne of grace for what I need.

Fill me up again with your strength. The battles of life have worn me out and have left me weak.

Strengthen my hands today that I may do the work you have set before me. Let me not rely on my strength for you have called me to live by your Spirit who empowers me.

I give you the things that are burdening me and causing me to lose strength (Matthew 11:28).

Give me rest from all my troubles because you have promised to deliver me from all of them.

Renew my strength like the eagle that I may go to higher heights without growing weary.

I declare that I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me according to Philippians 4:13.

As I read your Word, may it give strength to the weak places in my heart.

The issues of my life flow from my heart and it needs to be in perfect condition always.

You are my strength and salvation and I will trust in you every day.

In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.

How To Draw Strength Daily From God

Life’s issues can sometimes wear you out.

Whether it’s a volatile working environment or strife at home, you can end up feeling drained and lacking the strength to be productive each day.

God has promised to be your everlasting strength in Isaiah 26:4.

God knew the Christian walk is not easy, and from time to time you would experience weariness.

He therefore promised to increase your strength when you have no might (Isaiah 40:29). He doesn’t leave you to languish in weakness or fatigue. He is a loving Father who lifts you up and strengthens you for the journey ahead.

The grace of God is sufficient for you and his strength is made perfect in your weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9).

The power of Christ is always available to you and all you have to do is ask God to renew your strength.

What do you need God’s strength for today?

A new project?

Starting a business?

To raise your kids?

To overcome a broken heart?

To be productive in your work?

Ask him to help you for he is waiting for you to approach his throne of grace with your request.

Let the word of God be a source of your daily strength.
