Taking any test can be stressful and nerve-wracking because of the possibility of failure. Prayers to pass a test may not give you the answers to the test they will calm your nerves and build confidence and faith in you.

Father God, I thank you for the gift of education.

Thank you that my dear friend has the opportunity to further their knowledge of this world that you have created. 

Lord, I pray for peace of mind during these upcoming exams.

Exams can be so stressful and nerve-racking. But I ask that you would just help them to remain calm and focused in the middle of this difficult time. 

You rule the raging of the sea; When its waves rise, You still them Psalm 89:9

Give them the motivation that they need to study well, so that they can obtain the score that they envision.

And when it comes time to take the exams, enable them to recall everything they have learned and apply it well. No matter what happens, help them to realize that their identity is not defined by these tests. They are loved and valued by you, beyond their academic performance.

I pray for success, but if that is not the outcome, then I pray for acceptance.

Let these exams be a learning experience either way. Help my them not to be so consumed by worry that they forget the bigger picture.

Lord, give them the wisdom to take good care of their body, as well. It is all too easy to neglect physical needs when so much is at stake.

Therefore I beg you to take some food; for this is for your safety; for not a hair will perish from any of your heads. Acts 27:34

But Lord, you created our bodies to serve us, and so I pray that my friend is able to take all the necessary steps to function at her very best.

You know exactly what they need, whether that’s a healthy meal, a good night’s rest, or a walk in the park to clear their minds. So whatever they need to do, motivate them to do it.

God, help me to be as supportive as I can during this time. I may not be going through this exact same circumstance, but I know what it’s like to be under pressure about my future.

So may my presence, my words of advice, and my prayers not be in vain.

May we aim to build up one another in everything we do.

You have overcome so many challenges in your life already; these exams will be a piece of cake for you.

In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. Philippians 4:6

These exams are just a tiny speck in God’s grander plan for your life.

No matter what happens, know that you are loved and treasured by God; He sees you for more than your academic ability. Don’t let these exams define who you are.

You are so intelligent, and you have the perseverance to accomplish whatever you set your mind to; if anyone can conquer this exam, I know you can.

You have a bright future ahead of you, and no test score could ever change that.

You have worked so hard to get where you are, and I am sure that it will pay off.

I will be praying for you, and I’m always rooting for you in whatever you do.

Don’t give up – even when it seems hopeless, God can make a way.

Almighty God, I commit my forthcoming test into your hands. I pray you give me the grace to prepare diligently for it. As I do so, please crown my effort with huge success.

Please, also give me the grace to remain calm from the start of the test to the end. And most of all, may your peace flood my heart even as I await the result.

Faithful God, thank you for the opportunity to be shortlisted for this test. Thank you also for granting my application favor. I pray that you perfect what you have started. As I go in for this test, I ask that you accompany me and be with me every step of the way.

Grant them divine assistance so they would pass the test with flying colors. Release an excellent spirit upon them and make them ten times better than their equals.
