Prayer For Nurses In Every Hospital

Lord, I praise you for you are a compassionate Father and have called nurses to extend your heart to those who are sick in hospital.

Bless each nurse who has given their life to caring for others in order to nurse them back to health.

Give each nurse everything they need to do the work you have called them to do.

Let their focus be on their patients and not money, and know they have a reward awaiting them from you.

Position their hearts to seek you everyday concerning their work and every patient the hospital has assigned to them.

Help them cooperate with the doctors they must work with each day. May they give of themselves wholeheartedly and seek strength from you when they are feeling weary and tired.

Remind them to speak your word into the life of each patient under their care and to proclaim your healing to them (1 Peter 2:24).

1 Peter 2:24 Bible Verse

In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.

Prayer for Nurses in Training

Lord, I thank you for those who have given of themselves to be nurses and provide health care to those who are sick.

I pray for each nurse who is in training and give them the wisdom to provide the best care and service to the sick in hospital.

Teach them that nursing goes beyond what they are learning because it is a call you have given them to fulfill according to your will.

Give them an excellent spirit to be nurses of honor who value life and treat it with care and tenderness.

Then this Daniel was distinguished above the presidents and the local governors, because an excellent spirit was in him; and the king thought to set him over the whole realm. Daniel 6:3

Give them a teachable heart and help them understand all they are learning in nursing school.

May they be attentive in class and every practical lesson. Remind them they will be working for you and not human employers and will be accountable to you for their work.

Fill their hearts with compassion for every patient they encounter.

In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.

Prayer for Nurse Protection

Prayer for Nurse Protection

Lord, I praise you because you are a God who protects us as we go about our daily duties. Thank you for providing qualified nurses in our hospitals, doctor’s office and our travelling nurses who give of their time and expertise to take care of those who are sick.

Today I ask that you protect nurses in all hospitals around the world and keep them safe from anything that may want to harm them.

Send your angels to guard the way of every nurse to ensure they don’t stumble as they work and discharge their daily duties.

May your angels watch over them and keep them from harm’s way. Being human, they may not always see when danger is coming their way, and they need your protection.

Like you have promised in Psalm 34:7, command your angels to encamp around nurses and deliver them from trouble.

As nurses call out to you for help, be their ever-present help and shield of protection (Psalm 33:20).

Shield them from infections, poisons, sharp objects, and any other thing that would injure them in any way.

Be their first line of defense in the hospital and may they put their trust in you. Let them know that you are always with them and they have nothing to fear as they are busy working.

Remind them to always take up their shield of faith with which they can quench all the fiery darts of the evil one (Ephesians 6:16).

May their hearts be strong in your mighty power and deliverance.

In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.

Prayer for Nurses Before Work

Lord, you are the one who watches over our coming in and going out, and I ask that you take care of nurses before they go to work.

Prepare their minds for the day that lies ahead and calm their fears as they approach their duties. Remove any hindrance that would make them not show up for work for their daily shift.

Watch over the families that nurses leave behind every day as they go to work. Take care of their needs and help them understand that their loved one has a call over their life to save the lives of others in hospitals.

May their families lack nothing and provide them with their daily needs.

As nurses spend time with you before going to work, nourish their spirits and renew their minds so that they will have the wisdom they need for their work.

Speak to their hearts and enlighten them for the journey ahead. Give them hope that they will see lives saved as they tend to patients in the hospital. May your Word be a light for their path and a lamp for their feet (Psalm 119:105).

Give each nurse the grace to pray over every patient they will attend to and trust that you will heal them and restore them to health.

Provide them with the Scriptures they need to speak over every patient, and see your healing power manifest in them.

Fill nurses with the wisdom and spiritual insight they will need for the day.

In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.

Prayer for Nurses’ Safety

Lord, you are the one who keeps us safe and ensures that no harm comes over us because we are your children.

Today I pray for the safety of nurses around the world so that they can always be ready to work with zeal. As they tend to patients with contagious illnesses and diseases, keep them from infection.

Provide nurses with the protective gear they need to ensure they are well protected against anything that may harm them in the line of duty.

Where their gear is worn out, let the hospitals they work for provide them with replacements.

May the work environment of nurses be properly sanitized and disinfected to protect their health and well being.

Remind the nurses to always take safety precautions as they work because they too have a responsibility to keep themselves safe. Provide them with the products they need to keep their working spaces clean and safe.

As they sleep and rest after work, may they lie in peace because you are the one who makes them dwell in safety (Psalm 4:8).

Let them never forget that you are the one who keeps them safe at all times, and they don’t have to worry about anything.

May nurses look to you for their salvation and help instead of turning to other sources that will disappoint you.

Guide them toward your way of doing things so that they will be successful in the work they do. Let the minds of nurses be focused on you always.

In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.

Prayer for Nurses and Hospital Workers

Lord, thank you for providing nurses and hospital workers with employment so that they can save the lives of patients.

You have given them the gift of healing to be your hands and feet in the hospitals. They have given of their time and energy to nurse others to health.

Even those who have other duties in the hospitals, you have kept them safe as they show up for work each day.

Help nurses and hospital workers carry out their duties in line with the job responsibilities they have received from their respective hospitals.

May they always show up early for work knowing their services are necessary for the effective running of hospitals. Show them the importance of doing their work with diligence and excellence just like Daniel did in the Babylonian kingdom (Daniel 6:3).

Calm the fears of nurses and hospital workers especially when things seem to get out of hand.

Sometimes they can get overwhelmed when there are too many patients to handle, and they need to attend to each of them.

Remind them that you have given them a spirit of power, love and a sound mind.

bible verse 2 Timothy 1:7

For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. 2 Timothy 1:7

You have not given them a spirit of fear and help them not to submit to it.

May nurses and hospital workers always put their trust and hope in you because you are the one who heals patients.

Let their minds focus on you as the healer of very patient admitted in their hospitals and medical facilities and believe in your healing power.

In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
