Words of Encouragement for Veterans
There is nothing as fulfilling as giving of yourself in service for God and your nation.
However, the experiences during war can be a source of pain for any veteran, even the strong ones.
Thank you for giving your time to save lives and ensure others are secure.
You may have experienced trauma while on duty, but rest in the mighty arms of your loving Father who is ready to comfort and usher you into the next season of your life.
God has a good plan for your life according to Jeremiah 29:11, and it’s to give you a great future filled with his glory.
Open your heart to him and allow him to heal the broken places in it. He is only a prayer away.
Prayer For Veterans
Loving Father, thank you for every veteran who gave his or her life to military service on behalf of this nation.
I ask that you help them heal from their experiences during active duty and settle them in communities which will show them love.
Where they have lifted their voices to you for help, heal them and restore everything they have lost.
Give them hope for a brighter future.
Remind them you have a great plan for their lives and you are not done with them.
Where they are facing many battles in their lives, hear their cries and answer them with your sure salvation (Psalm 69:13).
Give them the assurance of your continued presence in their lives. Help them settle in civilian life with ease.
In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
