Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. Proverbs 3:5
One of the hardest things to do as a human being is to relinquish total control to someone else. One of the reasons we have such a hard time is because we usually think that we no one can do things better for us.
Some of us say “no one knows me like I do so” and is saying so we believe that we have the best answers for ourselves.
But there is One that knows us like no other. He actually knows us better than ourselves.
How many of us can say that we know how many strands of hair we have on our head?
But the Father, He knows the exact number. He knows things about us that sometimes we lock away in the deepest and darkest corners of our hearts.
You’ve heard the saying before: “Let Go & Let God.” When you do, you will see things happen in your life. You will see changes for the better.
So I challenge you to Trust in the Lord with ALL of your heart and see how good of a Father the Lord really is.

Ways to Trust God More in Your Daily Life:
| Action | How to Apply It | Biblical Support |
|---|---|---|
| Surrender your worries in prayer | Spend time each day laying your fears and concerns before God, trusting Him to take care of them. | “Cast all your worries on him, because he cares for you.” – 1 Peter 5:7 |
| Meditate on His Word | Read and reflect on Scripture daily to remind yourself of God’s promises and faithfulness. | “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light for my path.” – Psalm 119:105 |
| Obey His leading | Trust God by taking action when He prompts you to move, even if you don’t understand His plan. | “Blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him.” – Jeremiah 17:7 |
| Practice gratitude | Thank God for His provision and guidance, even during challenging times. | “Give thanks in everything, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus toward you.” – 1 Thessalonians 5:18 |
| Surround yourself with believers | Fellowship with others who can encourage and support your faith journey. | “Encourage one another and build each other up.” – 1 Thessalonians 5:11 |
A Prayer to Trust in the Lord
Heavenly Father,I come before You today, acknowledging how often I rely on my own understanding instead of fully trusting in You. Forgive me for the times I have doubted Your plan or tried to take control of situations that belong in Your hands.
Lord, help me to surrender my heart completely to You. Teach me to trust You with all that I am—my fears, my dreams, and my worries. Remind me daily of Your perfect love and unfailing wisdom.
Thank You for knowing me better than I know myself and for guiding my steps even when I don’t see the full path ahead. I choose to let go and let You lead, knowing You are a good Father who works all things together for my good.
In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
