God is within her. She shall not be moved. God will help her at dawn. – Psalm 46:5
Spiritual Thought On Psalm 46:5
Question: Can an enemy overthrow a nation that possesses the presence of the Almighty God?
Daniel wrote something in the eleventh chapter and thirty-second verse of his very intriguing book of prophecy: “…those who know their God will be strong and do great things.” Unfortunately, it is pretty evident that God is known by only very few in this present world. God is not present in the lives of many, and, as a result, suffering is so much on earth.
The majority of nations and people of this world need our scripture text’s first phrase to become their status quo. “God is in the midst of her…”
The reality of turmoil and unrest is a direct consequence of a lack of the presence of God, or more precisely, a lack of the knowledge of God.
God is with those who recognize Him and endeavor to relate with Him. God’s help is for those who choose Him to dwell in their midst.
There’s no question that we all require early intervention for every form of difficulty we encounter. The only way we won’t be worried or scared at the slightest challenge is when we are sure we have a backup plan or some advance help.
The strategy of victorious people is a secret power source, a secret helper.
God comes speedily and early to the ones he assists. He doesn’t waste time to attend to the needs of those who have Him in their midst. There’s practically no challenge for anyone who possesses the presence of God.
Dear God, I ask for your protection and guidance as I walk through this day. I thank you for this opportunity to be your servant. I ask for Your protection from any threats, danger, or harm that may come my way. Help me to remember that you are within me. 1 John 4:4 says “greater is he that is in me than he that is in the world.” I pray that I never forget this Lord. In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen.
