Psalm 73:26

My flesh and my heart fails, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever. – Psalm 73:26

Verse of the Day Psalm 73:26

Spiritual Thought

You have prayed, stood firm in the word, repented, and fasted. But nothing seems to be working.

Your flesh keeps giving in to sin, worry, and anxiety. You are so ashamed of yourself because you have failed so many times.

Well, the truth is we will fail from time to time. We will give in to sin and follow the desires of the flesh instead of God’s desires.

We need to recognize our weaknesses and accept that without God, we can do nothing. Accepting our flaws enables us to shift our focus from self to God.

See, the more you focus on yourself, the more you are going to fail. But if you choose to trust God and follow His leading, you will live a contented life.

You may not do everything right but knowing God is on your side and that He is your strength will revolutionize your life.

Instead of attaining success the world’s way, you will depend on God and trust the process he is taking you, even if it doesn’t make sense.

God is the strength of your life. Rely on Him and stop trying to do things your way.

Yes, your heart and flesh will fail you. They lust after the things of this world, but God will never fail you. He is faithful and is your portion forever.

Thank you for your sustaining strength and guidance in my life, Lord Jesus. You are incomparable. Thank you for the gift of your righteousness and the blessings I have received because of Your atonement. I am capable of doing anything because in you I have all that I need, Jesus.

Help me to keep my eyes on you even when my eyes and heart fail to see the light at the end of the tunnel.

In Jesus’ name, I pray.
