Dear God, thank You for the gift of Your Word.
Psalms 91 is a beautiful confession of faith that indicates safety for those who put their trust in You. You have also promised rest and peace to all those who dwell in Your shelter and Your shadow. They denote a place of feeling at home and well rested from the dangers of the enemy.
My heart rejoices this day as I invite Your presence into my life. Lord, set me to dwell safely away from those who puff at me, for You are my refuge and fortress. Thank You for delivering me from the snare of the Fowler.
I declare I am not a victim of whatever trap the enemy intends to use, to bring about my destruction in Jesus’ Name. I break every trap of oppression and destroy every power set to capture my life in the name of Jesus. Let God’s fire surround my family and possessions and protect them from destruction.
In Psalms 91, You have promised to cover me with Your feathers under your soft, warm and impervious wings. Lord, I choose to believe the truth of these words.
I will not be afraid of the terror that walks at night. I will trust you to be my defense against every pestilence. Thank you for always going before me and protecting my future from visible and invisible dangers.
I ask that Your presence would remain in my home at all times. May it go with me as I travel. Because your word promises that even if a thousand falls at my side and ten thousand on my other side, none shall come near me.
I proudly confess that You are my refuge and my hiding place. Disaster might happen all around me, but none of it will come near my tent.
Father, lead me with your truth as a shield. Strengthen my desire to seek Your presence daily. Let Your angels take charge of my life. May they lift me up with their hands, so that I will not strike my foot against a stone.
Lord, I am grateful for the authority to trample on the cobra and the lion. I shall not be afraid, even when the enemy attacks unexpectedly out of the darkness.
Even if the lion tries to tear me apart while the serpent poisons me, my trust will be in God. As I follow in the example of Your word, I will not only survive but also overcome all the plans of the evil one.
Heavenly Father, I acknowledge Your name. You are Elohim, the supreme and true God. Your name is Yahweh, He that holds great power. I call You Jehovah Nissi, the Lord who is my banner.
I choose to surrender control of my life to You, for You are able to lead me to supernatural victory over the forces of the evil one. Thank you for honoring me. Thank you for being with me while in trouble. Thank you for answering me whenever I call You.
Thank you that You will satisfy me with long life and show me Your salvation. I give you all the praise and glory. Thank You for all You have given me in Jesus’ Name. Amen .
1He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
2 I will say of Yahweh, “He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.”
3 For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler, and from the deadly pestilence.
4 He will cover you with his feathers. Under his wings you will take refuge. His faithfulness is your shield and rampart.
5 You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day,
6 nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, nor of the destruction that wastes at noonday.
7 A thousand may fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand; but it will not come near you.
8 You will only look with your eyes, and see the recompense of the wicked.
9 Because you have made Yahweh your refuge, and the Most High your dwelling place,
10 no evil shall happen to you, neither shall any plague come near your dwelling.
11 For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways.
12 They will bear you up in their hands, so that you won’t dash your foot against a stone.
13 You will tread on the lion and cobra. You will trample the young lion and the serpent underfoot.
14 “Because he has set his love on me, therefore I will deliver him. I will set him on high, because he has known my name.
15 He will call on me, and I will answer him. I will be with him in trouble. I will deliver him, and honor him.
16 I will satisfy him with long life, and show him my salvation.”
