Psalm 91:4 He will cover you with his feathers. Under his wings you will take refuge. His faithfulness is your shield and rampart.
What a protector you are to me, Father! You are not only my Protector but my very protection, Lord. This is because you are so strong, Great God. Your immense power and glory cannot be measured in any way.
Thank you for your promises in the psalms. I know that I can trust you, Father. Even as dark and bleak these times I live in are, I can rest secure in your beautiful promises.
Savior of my soul, please cover me with your shielding feathers. Keep me protected under your wings. Never let me go off on my own, unprotected and vulnerable. Let me remain guarded by your truth. Rebuff all the lies my enemies spew out. And unravel every deception right now, Lord.
I trust you for the ultimate protection you offer yourself. I take refuge in your blessed presence, King of Glory. They are nothing you cannot do. Fight for me wherever I can’t fight for myself. Destroy every obstacle standing against me.
I do not know all my enemies, Lord. But I know you. And I know that you are immensely strong and that no one can compare your might and forcefulness.
Great Protector, I am in your care and protection forever. Keep me together in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
Psalm 115:11 You who fear the Lord, trust in the Lord; He is their help and their shield.
Yes, I will trust in you, Lord. I will trust in you with all my heart. And I will trust in you forever.
You have presented yourself as the chief source of protection in this world. Nothing can surpass the protection you offer people who choose and trust you. Great God, I have confidence in your protection.
The word says you are my help and shield. So, I thank you for who you are right now. This is your nature and designation. You are the shield that covers and the help that keeps me held up.
Trouble surrounds me, Father. I go outside sometimes, and all I see is outright suffering and peril in the lives of others. God, only you can keep me safe in times like this.
I hear rumors of wars. There is violence in the streets, and I see reports of multitudes dying in the news. And my heart longs for your protection in these dark hours.
How can anyone survive without your help? Only trauma and death await those who presume to live their lives without you. But I won’t do that, Lord God. Instead, I will trust in you, and my heart will stay steadfast in you because you are my only hope and security.
And so I ask for more and more of your presence with me for protection in Jesus Christ’s name. Amen.
Psalm 119:114 You are my hiding place and my shield; I hope in Your word.
There is absolutely nothing like your word, oh God of creation. You created all things by the words of your mouth, and nothing compares to the power your holy words carry.
From your words, I derive my breath, life, and length of days. Therefore, everything on this earth is subject to your mighty word, Almighty.
And that’s why I come to hide in you. Oh yes, I can trust in your protection. You are my hiding place – my safe house. I run to you when there is trouble in this world. You have the ultimate power in your word to keep me shielded and guarded.
So, I won’t stop believing in what you say, Father. I know I can trust your word with my life.
Thank you for being so powerful and protective, Great One. You are so unmatchable in all you do. My enemies can keep up with you. Yes, I open my eyes to you and my mouth to declare what you do.
So, I receive from you the protection for my life. The answer to the harassment of all adversaries is in your powerful word. I align myself with everything you say because you say good things about me.
Thank you for this safe space I find in you, Father. Thank you so much for all the good plans you have made for me, Lord. I pray I continue to trust in you forever in Jesus’ name. Amen.
Psalm 46:1 God is our refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble.
The world may not know who you are. But I know who you are. They may have ignored you completely, Father. But you are all I see.
God, it is true! You are my refuge. You are the place I run to hide when all goes topsy-turvy. No enemy can get me when I take refuge in your presence.
How can they get who they can see? So, Lord, tuck me away. Hide me in your fantastic presence forever. And I will not be seen by those who rise against me.
Thank you for doing so much more than hiding me, Father. A refuge is defensive, but strength is offensive. Both offer protection, but in different ways. Furthermore, you are my strength, Lord of Hosts, and you are the source of my energy and vitality. You are also my life and the power that keeps me strong.
I receive strength from you now for protection. Let your mighty power in my life rise against every adversity opposing my progress. I will be strong in your presence. Make me stronger through your power. I have come to you for that grace you give that scares every demon away.
And you are always there helping everyone that comes to you. So I humble myself before you because I need this help you give so readily.

Psalm 48:3 God has shown himself in her citadels as a refuge.
Father, I come to you asking for your protection over the wealth you have given me. I have looked around at all you have given me, and sometimes I worry that I may lose it all. By your grace, I have acquired some impressive things, and now I get scared by the prospect of losing them sometimes.
This is a wicked world I live in. Many people want to prey on the success of others to get ahead. There are thieves, crooks, and swindlers everywhere.
These people keep looking for an opportunity to steal, kill, and destroy.
But you have been my protection up until now. Evil people will be scared to come near me if you are with me. So, I ask for the protection of overall you have given me. Protect my business, Lord, and my investments. And protect all my assets, Father.
Above all, I protect my family. But, please, I want the extraordinary evidence of your presence all around everything that belongs to me. Let every opportunist be exposed. Let every criminal be turned away. I want you, God, to be known as my refuge in all that you have committed to me.
Be my protection and my guard. In everything I do, lead me. Please show me the way to go in everything you have called me to accomplish. And keep increasing me, Father.
I ask all this from the depth of my heart. Thank you for hearing and answering me in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen
Psalm 57:1 Be merciful to me, God, be merciful to me, for my soul takes refuge in you. Yes, in the shadow of your wings, I will take refuge, until disaster has passed.
God of Heaven, only your mercy can save me. Only you can protect me from all kinds of terrible danger. Therefore, because there is nothing you can’t do, I have chosen to come to you and only you.
I am finished without you, Lord. There is no way I am making it through these storms without your mercy. So, be merciful and answer me with your protection and security.
These times in my life are nothing like I’ve ever experienced before. It seems like all is against me. The waves of trials and temptations keep crashing against me. My heart is shaken. My mind is unsure. Without help, I’m a victim. So, I need you, Lord, so desperately.
But no matter what may come against me, my heart is fixed on You. No circumstance or pressure will distract me from you. My trust is in your mercy entirely, and I’m desperate for solid protection.
I need effective covering. And there’s no other place to get that but in you, Mighty God.
Hide me under the shadow of your wings. Place me where evil people and events can’t find me. Keep me from the wicked eye of the enemy. And be my refuge right now. This is what I cry for today, Lord. Only your protection is protection indeed.
Hear my prayer, Merciful Father. and show me your miracles, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
Psalm 31:2 Bow down Your ear to me, Deliver me speedily; Be my Rock of refuge, A fortress of defense to save me.
I cry out to you, Oh God of Mercy and Grace. Hear the cry of my heart today. Please, listen to my deepest desire. Let your kind heart and compassion reach out to me in great rescue.
How I need you, God. I genuinely need your deliverance and protection. I cannot go on without it, Father. And I need your strong hand right away. I have an immediate need for your miraculous touch, Lord. So please, come to my aid quickly.
Be my protection, my Rock of defense, and high tower. I come to you to find a safe place for my life. I can’t watch my life go to ruins through attacks from the adversary. So I need your power protecting now, God of Victory.
Enter in and do a new thing with me, Father. Surround me with your covering of glory. Wrap me round with your light and keep me from hurt and destruction. I present my body and my properties to you for protection. I come to the safehouse of your presence.
Be for me a fortress and battlements to shield from my enemies. Be to me a preventive measure against every darkness, and let your immense glory rule over me forever.
Hear now, oh God of my help. Come and save me. Thank you for all you do for me. I pray all these things in the name of Jesus Christ.
Psalm 59:1 Deliver me from my enemies, my God. Set me on high from those who rise up against me.
My God and Heavenly Father, I bless your name. You are the source of my strength and my pillar of support. I thank you for being so faithful to me in times past even as I have been unfaithful to you at times.
How can I ever express gratitude for all you have done for me? Such a good God you are and such a protector you’ve been.
But I come to you again because I have learned that I can only rely on you for my needs. You are not only strong, but you are also vital. So, I trust you forever.
Please, rescue me, oh Lord. Save me from the workers of darkness. Deliver from those who have risen against me. Give me protection from all that want my hurt. Defend me from those who seek my embarrassment. Lord God, save me with a strong deliverance by your great and mighty power.
Be my defender today and rearguard against all backstabbers. Lord, you are my shield against assaulters. Vindicate me again and again until my enemies are worn out. Let your defense for me make my adversaries weary. Let them become frustrated by how well you protect me.
Thank you for all you do and keep doing for me, my God. Let your strong arms keep me safe from all that rise against me for evil in Jesus Christ’s name. Amen.
Psalm 59:16 But I will sing of your strength. Yes, I will sing aloud of your loving kindness in the morning. For you have been my high tower, a refuge in the day of my distress.
Beautiful Lord, can I just praise you for just a moment? Oh, there is so much that you have done for me. My mind can’t recall it all. There is so much you have saved me from. You have protected many times over, God. So I thank you for being with me through all sorts of trials.
Now, my heart is full of songs, God of Grace. My soul is filled with love for you because of your great mercy towards me. I will sing of your power and your mercy. Yes. Every morning when I wake up, I will shout for joy for your mighty saving hand in my life.
Each time I trusted you for protection, you delivered. Whenever I believed in you for a rescue, you came on time. You are so protective of me. I feel so safe because of your presence in my life.
You keep making good on your promises, going the extra mile on every word you have spoken. And that’s why I will keep trusting you for protection. I will rely only on you for deliverance again and again.
No one is more diligent or faithful in the art of protection than you, King of the Universe. I am grateful for all you have done in my life, God.
So keep guarding my life and affairs as I trust in you, Father. I pray this in Jesus’ name. Amen.
Psalm 62:2 He alone is my rock, my salvation, and my fortress. I will never be greatly shaken.
You are exclusive, King of kings. To me, you are separate and holy. There is just no one like you Lord, no other god, king, or lord as powerful as you.
You are the Lord of lords and King of Kings and you have said it before, there is no other god besides You. You are the first and the last, the beginning and the end. You are the author and finisher of my faith. And you are the only one who can be trusted.
There is an excellent defense in you, oh Rock of Ages. And that’s why I keep coming to you again and again. I completely trust you. You alone are my defender. You are like a robust and protective tower where I hide for safety.
Indeed you are the Rock – my Rock. So, I will not be moved at all by anything or anyone. No circumstance around me can cause me to stir because You are with me. You are the Rock on which I have built my life. I have founded my affairs on your stable nature. So, I am satisfied.
I come to you, and you answer me, oh Great God. So, I cannot be bothered by the workers of darkness. There is nothing that is done against me that can work because you are protecting me. You cover for me before every adversity. Thank you for safely guarding me.
Now, I ask that you guard me even more as I go further on my life’s journey. I pray for you to keep me safe and secure in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
Psalm 7:10 My shield is with God, who saves the upright in heart.
Almighty God, I wan to always do what You want me to do. I will continually obey because I want to live uprightly before you. I want to do the right thing only. That’s my heart’s desire – to please You is what I have chosen to do.
So, please defend and protect me because doing what is right often leaves one vulnerable in this ungodly world. And I don’t want to be taken advantage of or taken for weak before my adversaries.
So, I have chosen your ways. I have chosen your calm and peaceful lifestyle for people exemplified and taught by Jesus to us. But I don’t want to go on without Your protection.
Oh Lord, be my defense and protector. Cover me with the shadow of your wings, Oh God. Deliver me from every opposition. And according to your promise, save me, for I am upright in my heart because I have chosen your ways.
Father, my defense is you. You are my guard with your mighty shield. Stop the enemy with your great sword of power which is Your powerful word. Protect, redeem, and save me thoroughly. I will always listen to you and obey your voice.
I love your ways, and I enjoy your living for You. You make my heart strong by your ways. You make my life better by the paths you have chosen for me. So, I will continue to trust you for my safety. I will trust in you forever.

Psalm 82:3 Defend the weak, the poor, and the fatherless. Maintain the rights of the poor and oppressed.
Oh lord, hear my cry and my intercession for the weak in the world. Please, hear me and answer me speedily as I pray for those who are defenseless. Come to the aid of the people you made and save them, Father.
Many in this world are bound by pain and struggle. I look around me, and my heart breaks for those who are mistreated and taken advantage of. So, many are poor. So many children are without parents – no fathers to provide for and no mother to protect.
The situation of our world today is dire.
Please, God, come and help us. Save us from predators and opportunists. Hinder harassers and enemies. Defeat the adversaries and wicked ones. Protect your people, Lord. No one can protect them as you can.
I present myself to you as an instrument for your use. Please make me a hand of hope for the hopeless, a shield of defense for the defenseless, and a refuge for those needing to hide. I will make a place for those who you save with me.
God, give justice to all who are oppressed around me. Send help to all who call on you. You are our Protector, after all. Protect us indeed.

Psalm 18:35 You have also given me the shield of your salvation. Your right hand sustains me. Your gentleness has made me great.
I praise you, God, the Almighty One, for you are the one who gives me protection from my enemies.
So many circumstances have become sources of insecurity to me, yet I know that I have you God who is ever willing to preserve me and my properties.
The assurance of the scriptures set me up to have my gaze upon you for specific protection.
Grant to me your presence which is the natural shield for protection. Let me enjoy salvation on all sides against the wishes of my enemies, for your salvation is a shield. This is salvation because your right hand upholds me, so I do not go down in life.
By your mercy is gentleness by which I am made great. Hold me from slipping away from the height that I have gained because of you. Your shield of greatness has thwarted the efforts of my adversaries, keeping those who oppose me perpetually under my feet and with no power to conquer me.
My God and Lord, act toward me in your gentleness but cause those who attack me to have a change of heart.
Make the way of the enemies hard and tiresome to keep them from pressing in against your righteousness in me.
My paths you have guarded with your presence, and make the paths of the wicked terror to their own souls. And I will stand among the great in the land to proclaim your glory and honor by the salvation I have enjoyed. In the name of Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen.
Psalm 33:1 Rejoice in the Lord, you righteous! Praise is fitting for the upright.
Plead my cause, O Lord, with those who strive with me; Fight against those who fight against me.
Striving among men is violence, and intensely against me unjustly, they have risen against me while I am seeking their good. Plead my cause, O Lord, with the wicked, for I am innocent of their plotting.
Those whom I work for their peace rose against me in secret fights. They have used words against me so as to destroy me that they may occupy the inheritance you have given me in your great salvation, fight against them and bring them down to nothing. Therefore, let them be ashamed that they have raised their hands to oppose your anointed.
The God of my salvation raised a standard of life for me that no one can beat. Therefore, weaken their resolve to oppress the guiltless.
Let their plotting be what they experience incessantly.
As for me, let security rejoice in my soul. Let the guiltiness of the wicked be a heavy burden that they cannot undo.
Cause evil partners to rise against one another. Let them not experience rest in their midst. Then, a perpetual argument will be their portion.
But Lord, grant your servant speed in all areas of my endeavor while the wicked are held back from reaching my position in you.
Cause the wicked to enjoy ceaseless fights all about their territories.
In thanksgiving, I will praise you because you have put out the memory of my adversaries, for, in your deliverance, they are of no power to fight against me. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
Psalm 35:3 Brandish the spear and block those who pursue me. Tell my soul, “I am your salvation.”
Lord of my life, intercept those who set themselves to be in pursuit of my life. With your presence as a spear against them, let them be brought to a problematic halt in their tracks. Let the situation be complicated for them to thrive.
Let their activities endanger their progress. Plague the camps of my adversaries with what they cannot be delivered from. Keep them busy with all kinds of trouble.
Proofs of your salvation are found all around me. You have kept the heads of the oppressors in confusion. While I am rising as a star, the confusion in the life of my enemies never ceases to be.
You, O Lord, have put me on a lofty stand in glory and honor, and from there, I will look down to watch the toiling of the wicked, working without results that will bring them what they need.
O God, cripple what works for my enemies, which is my salvation. Let the light of your righteousness shine bright in my camp. Yeah, let productivity be synonymous with me, while scarcity ravages the strongholds of the enemies.
Let those who persecute me be betrayed by their loyal friends, but set worthy men and women around me, loyalty among them that walk with me be genuine. In these, I know that you have said to me that you are my salvation.
Psalm 9:9 The lord will also be a high tower for the oppressed; a high tower in times of trouble.
With you is the covenant of safety. Set up a hiding place for me so that no one can discover me – a refuge of superiority so complex that the best of the adversaries can’t get access. Make me of the nobility that subjects all uprising of the hostile mobs.
In your name, O God, let the oppression of the wicked cease. And because of your great hands, the oppressors of the just will now be oppressed. Therefore, let nothing meaningful proceed from the mouth of the unjust who terrorizes me.
His incantations to his gods are proven abortive.
My hiding place in you, O God, is not accessible to the people of wickedness. Word weapons of my adversaries are returned to their bosom.
Destruction will not cease from my enemies’ camp, and I will sing hallelujah in the presence of my enemies. Because I have found a sure refuge in you, O Lord, I will become a sample of safety in God for many who trust you, dear Lord.
When trouble comes, please arise for my help against all troublesome people. Make it their portion to be swallowed by their craftiness.
hen, save me in your arms of grace and put a song of praise to your name on my lips unceasingly. Amen.
Psalm 5:11 But let all those who take refuge in you rejoice. Let them always shout for joy, because you defend them. Let them also who love your name be joyful in you.
To God belongs the salvation that I need. The rejoicing of my heart comes from the truth of his excellent protection worked out in love for me. Your safety causes me to shout for joy. I praise the glory of your name because you defend me.
You made it scripture that anyone who is found rejoicing has his trust only in God, who is my strength. Therefore, let pains and hardships be easily discovered in the camp of the hater of righteousness.
Cause your presence to be the weapon of warfare for me because you will defend me against the oppressors’ wishes—grant to the wicked sadness of heart for a reward. Let the shout of heartaches be the portion of the inheritance of my adversaries.
Your defense for me is the terror and insecurity of the wicked-hearted.
I will be joyful in You, my God, for your countenance is the Spirit of deliverance from the cruel exercise of power in the hands of those who contend with me.
Let gloominess be the state of the house of my opposers, shorten their lifespans. Bring their wealth to uselessness in their hands.
In praise of your glory, you who have defeated my enemies before me, I exalt you in the congregation of the great. In Jesus Christ’s name. Amen.
Psalm 59:11 Don’t kill them, or my people may forget. Scatter them by your power, and bring them down, Lord our shield.
I earnestly pray you, the God, my Rock, make my enemies inoperable, totally unusable to themselves before me. Let them be kept in the state of permanent uselessness for a sign that you permanently save me.
Do not fail to make vagabonds of those who unjustly fight me. Make the progress of the one who wrestles with me difficult. They shall be seen everywhere loitering without purposes on earth. Let fear and panicking of heart be the companions of my opponents.
Make them strangers in the lands of their birth such that they may no longer be able to rise against me.
Bring them down by fright and make terror their guard. By this, you are seen and revered as the shield of the just. Because I trust in you, my enemies are afraid of waking up from sleep. The reign of God in me is seen because you have made my enemies my footstool.
Therefore, let their servitude never end. Servants of servants they shall be in all the places of their habitations.
The generations of my children after me will always serve you as their own God, for we have no god before God Almighty who has completely subdued our enemies before us.
But, on the other hand, the rest of the world will fear the awesomeness of your name, for trust in you is the only safe refuge to get.

Psalm 144:2 my loving kindness, my fortress, my high tower, my deliverer, my shield, and he in whom I take refuge, who subdues my people under me.
My God, my lovingkindness and fortress, is also my invocation against the wrath of my enemy.
My high tower and deliverer, you have extinguished the fear of terror from me by your presence that saves. In all the earth, none is capable of salvation such as you have granted me in the presence of my enemies.
You have told my soul that you are my deliverer, so my enemies have been silent before me. The former places where terror used to lodge are now the city of righteousness and moral correctness.
By the shield of the Lord, I am preserved, and my enemies are made liars in threatening me. Therefore, rise O my shield and buckler to prevent the breaking forth of the violent lips against me; let their words fall to the ground.
God, my help make peace be found within my walls with no one to threaten. Because I dwell in your court, the enemy who looks out for me is disappointed. You have hidden me in a high tower in your high heaven, a refuge too lofty for my opposers.
I will exalt my Rock and bow to him who saves me ceaselessly. Your goodness brings down our adversaries on their knees. You have caused my countenance to light up and also to be a terror to those who hate me. Thank you, God, in the name of Jesus Christ.
Psalm 46:7 The Lord of Armies is with us. The God of Jacob is our refuge.
I seek your presence as it is written, “God is with us.” Lord of hosts, I confess to you in my prayers that you are with me in all I am and do. Like Jacob sought your presence for his help, I seek you for my going forward and safe refuge.
Let the truth of your presence with me put them that hate me to flight. Let them find no help from the Almighty.
O God, you saved Jacob from his great fear. Esau and Laban proved difficult to him, but you were with Jacob. Therefore, save me in the order of Jacob, let your angel assist me against them that say I am alone and without assistance.
When Jacob had his two named adversaries to deal with simultaneously, you came in quickly, sending the angel of your presence to prevent hurts of any kind done to him. Save me swiftly to dash the hope of the wicked against me.
You were the refuge to Jacob, be my refuge too. The Lord of hosts is with me, and you will give your angels charge to protect and defend me.
And let the angels put my enemies to fight in terror. And in you, I have lasting protection in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
