Verse of the Day Isaiah 43:2

When you pass through the waters, I will be with you, and through the rivers, they will not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned, and flame will not scorch you. – Isaiah 43:2

Spiritual Thought

This is a declaration of God’s ever-present help with those who love him. But beyond that, we also should learn the ways of God.

We must learn that God may not always keep the waters that can drown us away from us.

Neither will he always keep us from the experience of going through the fires, nor away from the strong currents of the rivers that can sweep us.

However, we are assured of his presence and protection even when we go through these hard situations.

Dress with Purpose:

God is loving, but there are things we need to experience to solidify our faith and trust in him. These sufferings will build endurance in us, and we know that God is able to save truly.

God will always keep us safe, and even though we walk through the valley of the shadow of death for our mistake or not, he is there with us to rescue us.

Prayer

Heavenly Father, I feel like I am walking through a storm and I can feel the flames burning at my feet. I sometimes think that I can't handle these trials but then your Holy Spirit reminds me of Who you are and what you've promised to your children. I will continue to praise you because my trials will not overcome me. I believe this in the mighty name of Jesus.
