Verse of the Day James 1:6

But let him ask in faith, without any doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, driven by the wind and tossed. – James 1:6

Verse of the day I Corinthians 13:4-6

Spiritual Thought

God only walks closely with those who have mastered the art of trusting him totally. Why does he always speak of faith? It is because he is God and is too big to be doubted. It is an insult to his pedigree and track record when men doubt him. This is why he always searches for and is committed to blessing men who have faith in him, because our faith honors him.

When we come to him, we can only use the ticket of faith to receive from him.

When we pray, it is faith that believes we will receive what we are asking of him.

Jesus also taught in this way, that when we ask for a thing, our faith should be such that we believe we have already received in fact.

We should not be like the waves of the sea that the wind blows high in a moment, and the next moment, it is down again. Our faith must make us sustain confidence when we ask God for a thing. This is the way to asking God, and it is the way to receiving from him.
