Peter answered him and said, “Lord, if it is you, command me to come to you on the waters.” 29 He said, “Come!” Peter stepped down from the boat and walked on the waters to come to Jesus. 30 But when he saw that the wind was strong, he was afraid, and beginning to sink, he cried out, saying, “Lord, save me!”. – Matthew 14:30

Spiritual Thought On Matthew 14:30
Father, I pray that You would be my salvation. No matter how strong or fast the winds are, they cannot cause waves greater than our Lord. This holds true in life as well. If you have a solid relationship with Jesus Christ, He can keep you safe even in the face of anything life throws your way. As long as you stay close to Him, you will never be left in danger.
When you feel like the waves of the storms of life are beginning to overtake you, extend your hand unto the Lord and call His name. God will pull you back up just as He did with Peter during his storm.
Prayer
Dear God, I know that You are here in the middle of my life and sometimes it’s easy for me to forget that You are there when I am facing the storms of life. Help me to remember that You are the one who created me and that you will help me with all my trials and tribulations. I ask for Your help with all my trials and tribulations. Father, I ask that You make my life an example of your great love for me. I ask that You show me how to endure everything that comes my way and be used for your glory. I thank You for all of the good things that You have done for me. In Jesus’ name I pray.
