Wedding Anniversary Blessings and Prayers
Marriage is such a blessing. Yes, there are times that marriage can be rough but when we place our marriage in the hands of the Lord we can overcome any hardships.
I want to pray blessings over each and every one of our marriages. That the Lord may just pour out blessings upon us and that He may grant us the wisdom and knowledge to work as one with our spouse.
The married life was ordained by God and we must cherish and honor it as Christ honors His bride, the church.
Remember that marriage is a covenant between you, your spouse, and your Creator and when we allow God to be the center of our marriage we will experience a continued happy marriage even through the hard times.
Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it; 26 that he might sanctify it, having cleansed it by the washing of water with the word, 27 that he might present the assembly to himself gloriously, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without defect. 28 Even so husbands also ought to love their own wives as their own bodies. He who loves his own wife loves himself. Ephesians 5:25-28

You have been the pillar of this marriage and have taught my spouse and me to love and honor each other.

With each coming year in this marriage, strengthen our love for each other, and may we be an encouragement to other couples.
In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
